Audiobook. They was pretty unsure of the narrator, but he gets a lot better past book 1. He also gets rid of the dumb voice effect when saying skill names.

I'm on book 3 now and I'm really pleased with this series. It's all the same quality notes as He Who Fights with Monsters, Dungeon Crawler Carl and the Primal Hunter in a genre that usually struggles with quality.

I can't believe I only had 2.5 hrs left and I took a break for a 26 hr book just to keep up with friends.

Only 2.5 hours. I'm always amazed at how much love I feel for all the characters in this series, and how it has so epically superseded the genre tropes it starts with.

story: 4 star, graphic novel adaptation: 2 star

although I'm in the minority on that based on the awards
