the little chapter where cyrus teases alizeh about never eating bread before was so cute, especially when they had to escape and he took her to a field of tulips. the moment got ruined by iblees torturing cyrus though, i feel so bad for him but he seems to be a “i’m secretly a good guy” character.

i left my book at home and i cannot stop thinking about cyrus, sorry kamran 😔

i’m living for the alizeh and cyrus chapters, i think they have amazing chemistry.

i also think it’s cute how kamran is so determined to get alizeh back even though he isn’t sure if she betrayed him or not. i feel sorry for him as the nobles try to usurp him but i feel even more bad for omid. poor little guy has no idea that kamran is leaving to tulan to get answers 😭

i’m just as confused as alizeh is as to why cyrus is also a puppet or caught up in the business of iblees but i guess towards the end of the book all would be cleared up ? i am loving his mysterious character though !

kinda love how kamran is like so confused on everything about alizeh and i feel so bad as the nobles are trying to usurp his throne. poor guy cannot catch a break but im glad he spared hazan because he did need a friend on his side.

im LIVING for the cyrus and alizeh chapters though, oh my god they have to be my favourite.

I GET THE CYRUS HYPE- i think i prefer him over kamran but oh my goodness !

busy weekend and now i can be in bed and read but kamran’s birthmark “mutating” over his body makes him 100% more attractive, especially when i immediately went to go look at fan art omg. the gold lines suit him !!

omg reading what kamran thought about alizeh being jinn and his friends betraying him i felt so sad, he really is living up this his new title of “melancholy king.”
i don’t know how to feel about cyrus yet but i do think he’s a super cool character

i had a £20 on my waterstones card and just had to run and buy this book!

the amount of drama i’m lowkey sat with my popcorn out 😫

i want to DNF so badly, i find myself hating bryce to how she’s treating hunt and his trauma and almost ALL the males because they’re thinking about sex all the time (except tharion.)
i literally cannot stand to read one more line in this book

i’m somehow tackling this book at such a pace i’ve impressed myself considering i started it sunday and it’s now 1:13am 😭

my brain has processed so much information in just a little over the day that i have no words. i’m lowkey sad bryce is back in her world tho.
im also super stoked lidia is alive too.

also not to be that person because i know this was published first but lidia reminds me of kaine ferron from alchemised and i think that’s why i love her so much.

lidia i’m in love with you, the stunt she pulled to save hunt, bax and ruhn was amazing but she better be alive after jumping off the cliff omg

i’m on part 2 and what the hell is going on, an asteri was in hidden underground locked away in a cage in prythian. everything lore wise is starting to make sense both world wise but i’ve also got so many questions. i wished i read this book sooner and didn’t leave it last minute 😭

learning the actual lore behind prythian and lunathion is quite literally the same but also reminds me of throne of glass in a way.
i definitely don’t like theia, she’s too power hungry and so far, is the reason all this is happening.

ahh i forgot how much i love nesta and the acotar characters, the way nesta fought the wyrm in the cave was so badass.

i only really care about bryce’s chapters but i lowkey understand why people say this book isn’t as good.

guys i have to finish this by tuesday, why’d i leave it this long ?
