O carte "exceptionala" care il ignora pe Da Vinci, pomenindu-l pasager, si, pe langa enumeratii si enumerari, pune mai mult accent pe fapte secundare picturii decat pe istoria si individualitatile genurilor. Imi pare rau ca am inceput-o, asta este, tragem pana la final.

Great book. Stupid publisher. All "footnotes" are at the end of the book. A "pleasure" to read.

For a casual history fan like me, this book does wonders. You can't stop reading, taking notes, painting the most important passages you want to review, checking maps. A very good brain exercise and a great way to learn about a part of the Arabic first world war campaigns.
