some parts of her character are unfortunately relatable

so many cool things in the books that weren’t in the movie like how they blew up antarctica to produce enough methane in the atmosphere to stop the ice age for a few more years also i’m like stressing abt how much time grace and rocky are spending learning g abt each other and their languages when they need to chop chop and investigate astrophage

staying up reading is not a good idea (i love you. it’s ruining my life)

rocky’s abt to show up

wow there’s so much math and science

this is so good

having a threesome meanwhile hating each other is crazy

why is SHE 10 years older than him??? 35 and 25 tf? who wants a reverse age gap, let alone so large. does this play into the brat kink thing lol

stayed up late reading this 💔

finally getting to the third book - although nothing will be as good as lights out was

it’s giving unreliable narrators

have no idea what this is abt but it’s freida so ik ill be fine

very similar to another series i read earlier this year (this is probably the original) but not complaining

erm this can’t be the ending

i am excited

why we so close to the ending 😭

yk it’s getting serious when we’re unlocking multiple other povs

so much good political commentary

there’s too many pages left for it to be over so easily 🤨🤨

“ugh this is so good but i need to go to sleep” average reading experience

she’s a better person than i am bc i would just want to kill everyone

can’t wait for her to kill everyone

kinda chic to be reading a book the day it comes out 😛

yay the last book is finally out!!! i hope my time away from this series doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of it 🥲

this is just giving caraval and i’m not here for that

didn’t read much bc it’s not that interesting and i spent most of my way home from uni laughing at reels

this book has been a lot of confusion abt the logistics of doing things underwater but other than that it’s been fun

how do they speak underwater?

i’m confused abt how long his/their tails are

- thank god he and his brother had their moment but i’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop….

if his little brother dies thinking he’s a nazi and not knowing he’s a spy i’m gonna lose it
