one of my main issues with romantasy series is that the romance is settled in the first book which just doesn’t make me want to continue the series, so i like that they’re still beefing even if the tension isn’t as fun as the first book

he lost me at the fact where he murdered a man with his bare hands (an innocent man who’s only crime was being set up with mina by their parents). he wasn’t “competition” but a “nuisance” and he killed him bc he couldn’t kill the person he actually wanted to.

a few chapters ago he was worried about going to prison for assault, but sure, murder is better?
