Almost a quarter into this book, and I still can’t figure out if it’s good enough to keep reading. The only times that I’m actually intrigued are the very ends of each chapter. After that, the text gets somewhat boring. I feel like I’m just mindlessly reading at this point, hoping for something really good to happen. We’ll see, I guess.

I’m already weirded out by this teacher… and the fucked up part of it is that she is simply defending him. I’m hoping that she like realizes that he’s not a good person and exposes him. I don’t know it’s just unsettling.

I’m too tired to even think about what the hell just happened… but I’m confused and sad and uncomfortable all at the same time.

Well…. now we’re getting spicy! Have I mentioned that I absolutely fucking love Daphne? She’s so adorable and so strong-witted. It was kind of interesting to read about “getting it on.” Quite the experience. Anyway, the beginning of this section that I read kind of dragged on a bit, but then I got to the juicy parts and forgot about it. I absolutely love this book. Time to read 50 more pages tomorrow!

That was an interesting series of events, but I’m glad that they ended in a good way! I’m so happy for Simon and Daphne though. At this point, I just want to read the rest of it in one go, to see how things turn out. I’m like obsessed with this book, even though it has been starting to feel like the cheesy historical romance type of book. I don’t mind it at all!

oh. my. GOD! what the hell did i just read. I have never felt so many things go through my head at once. im just so angry at the situation because i want Simon and Daphne to get married so badly. They’re literally perfect for each other. I know Simon has bad blood against his father but like UGH. maybe, if he reads those letters, he’ll change his perspective. I just wanna keep reading but it’s like 1 AM… 😫

Lady Bridgerton is literally such a sweetheart. That woman should be protected at all costs. I definitely think that Simon and Daphne’s relationship is going to grow into much more than what their little scheme has in store for them. Also, Anthony needs to fuck off. I want to actually punch him in the face.

This book has been such an easy read. I feel like I don’t really even have to put much attention into every line to be able to understand what’s going on. I love that. Also, Daphne and Simon are so fucking adorable.

Okay Daphne’s literally a queen, like okay Victorian girlboss. I’m glad to see that Simon started to find a bit more confidence in himself, he deserves it. I love how the conversation in the book so far just seems so casual. It’s like I don’t have to really focus and read word by word to fully understand the everything. I’m loving this so far.

Personally, the prologue made my blood boil. I’m not going to get into it because I don’t want to spoil, but situations such as the one in this part of the book make me actually want to fight someone.

On that note, I am obsessed with Daphne. Her wit and attitude is just amazing. I can’t wait to read more.
