First chapter ending-I’m hooked!!!

My crawling speed of reading this book is not a reflection of my interest. More, it’s likely the heaviest (in weight) book that I have read and with broken wrist it’s hard to hold up! The characters are so rich and the building anticipation of the Gods’ meeting/battling has me captivated!

Oh gawd, on page 3 of the Cast of Characters and already overwhelmed. I liked it in his first book where the definitions were at the back of the book so they didn’t create a “speed bump” for my desire to read the book. That, and the weight of the book make it difficult to read at the end of the day when I’m trying to hold up the book in bed. Just saying. Come on page 4, I’ll get to you tomorrow.

Warsaw sounds like it was the most beautiful place.

Half way through and can’t put it down.

I was eager to read this book. Third chapter in and I gave up. The writing style does not appeal to me and I found it uninteresting. Just couldn’t bring myself to commit to finishing it.

I will finish this book but it is a slow meandering read that I am struggling to stay with.
