topic:making connections: I can make a connection from this book to the TV show Avatar because there is 4 elements, water, wind, fire, and earth which are the 4 elements that are in Avatar. I would say that the plot is fairly similar as well, as both have a evil tyrant terrorizing the world.

Topic:types of conflict: I think the types of conflict in this book are character verses character, the particular reasoning for such theories is that the main character, Maia, has a #1 enemy right now, Saul. Since Maia is a new effigy, she is training at the London sect headquarters, mastering her ability to use fire. She is also training with all the other effigies as most of them barely finished their training.

topic:inciting incident: The inciting incident I am choosing is when the main character, Maia, called out to the enemy, Saul, and said, "NICK" during a fight. Maia is a new effigy and effigy's remember their past lives, in this case, Maia is remembering a past effigies relation to Saul which means there is connection between Saul and a previous effigy. Maia and Saul have just met up and Maia tried saying Nick but no.

topic:make predictions: My prediction for this book is that the main character, Maia Finley, will either die, or see every other effigy die and be the last one standing. I think that Maia will become some sort of legend who is unsurpassed by an other, human, phantom, or effigy. In the current stage of the book, the effigies are fighting a phantom like no other and the sect is trying to get all effigies aligned.

Topic:characterization: The characters in this book are developed well with good explanation of who they are. The main character, Maia, is an, "effigy" which just means she is one of four in the world and she has to protect against phantom attacks. She has met another one of the effigies, Belle, and is currently fighting alongside her without much chemistry as she doesn't trust Maia quite yet.

topic: types of conflict: by the end of this book, Germany has started to decline and much of the other central powers have already been annexed. The conflict would be character verses character because the war is people fighting people to protect or strive to greatness.

topic:inciting incident: The assassination of an Austrian duke who went by Franz Ferdinand in 1914 was heavily investigated and after a few days, the Austrian government decided that Serbia, a foreign country south of the Austria-Hungarian border was responsible for the assassination. The Austrian government sent ludicrous demands to Serbia as reparation but Serbia refused, and the first war of world war one started.

topic:setting: IN the current stage of the book, the setting is in the Balkan area of Europe which consists of modern day Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, and Serbia. In the current time, the ottoman empire owns much of this area. The Balkans interests the Brits because of the strategic importance of it, it holds the Bosporus which is the only way Russia can trade by sea.

visualization: In this point of the book, the characters are preparing for war and it really describes the life and greenness of the surroundings which I can very well visualize because of the detail it goes into. It describes how the trees are alive, everywhere, and anywhere you look, there is always life, whether it be flowers, bushes, or trees, there is greenery everywhere.

Inciting incident: At this stage in the book, spies just came home and are training to fight the enemy, One character, Fi, Has learned that she is related to this group called Greenwitches and they have very powerful magic powers. Fi is trying to master this power with the help of Ness, A strong Greenwitch.

1/31:topic:7 story archetypes: This books is the sequel to the lighthouse between worlds so from the last book i know that the archetype is overcoming monsters. I know this because they live in a world with different dimensions and worlds so one world decided to rule all dimensions but no one from other worlds wants that. So there's a rebellion that wants to fight this "Nation" and I relate to Avatar when reading.

topic: supporting characters: this book has 243 pages not 192. I'm on 217 and the supporting characters are all of griffins comrades which is the resistance against Somni. These allies are Fi, Arvid, Liv, Philip (griffins dad), and Katherine (griffins mom). These characters are all supporting griffin whether it be making decisions about how to fight the enemy or what to eat for breakfast, they will always be there.

Topic: Connections: This book is about different realms and different nations/kingdoms but also magical so not many connections can be made because I don't read many books, but this does remind be of something called the spirit realm which I have heard of in tv shows such as Avatar and Kung Fu Panda three

Topic: Characterization: The main protagonist is very curious about why or what his parents are doing that got the killed. He learns about multiple dimensions or worlds that people live in but these worlds are being controlled by an evil person named Somni. Griffin wants to learn more about these worlds and starts experimenting each one of them one by one. This shows Griffin is brave and curious and will do anything.

Antagonist: The antagonist in this book is referred to as, "The enemy." or, "The danger." There is no specific definition of what or who the antagonist is but we do know that the mother and father have both been sent to fight against it and now the main character or protagonist, griffin, is trying to find a way to help in this war.

topic: Genre: This books genre is a Juvenile fiction, Science fiction, and Action and adventure. I know this because it says on the copy write page of the book, but I also know this because of what I can infer from what I know so far in the book, that there is a danger that concerns the family of lighthouse workers and the mother of Griffin was taken to face this danger and now they need the father, Philip's help.

Protagonist: The protagonist in this book is the orphan named Burch. He has a timid personality and doesn't talk much because he might have trust issues. I think this because he does not speak unless spoken to and he did not grow up in a military camp so I would think he was not treated well at home as his mother is an alcoholic while his father is no where to be seen.

summary: An orphan child gets bullied by other orphans. The main orphan has two "friends" even though you are not allowed to make friends. one is a girl :O. he has a girlfriend that is a orphan while being an orphan. For some reason the main character started to bounce on the fence and it was like a trampoline and then like 5 minutes later, every single orphan bounced on the fence and then the nun stopped them.

Conflict: the boy is being bullied by butch and his accomplice, mark, is saying that friends are not permitted so they cant play with each other everyday. meanwhile he found a new person that is being nice to him, a girl. this girl likes him and she kissed him on the cheek and now he doesn't know what to do and he got no rizz so he said "I don't talk to girls." I don't know what he is doing but i wish him luck.

Predictions: currently, the boy is in an orhpanage and right now i think he will get in a fight. i think he will get into a fight with this otehr kid named butch mainly becuase this kid is starting to get annoyed at butch. butch is a bully to the kid and his friend so i think the kid will protect his firend from getting bullied by butch.

CONFLICT: the book is getting to a point where the male character is causing chaos in this all female society and it will be remembered forever. All of the village docters are trying to save this one mans life and they don't even know if they are allowed to because HaR. Help and Rescue. Which is the only branch of military now because most males are gone and Help and Rescue is the only one left.

CONFLICT: my book is in a state where characters are being influenced by the way this one individual is acting. the conflict is called character verses society

CONFLICT: the book is in a stage where characters are in a panic with eachother because of this one individual. the conflict would be called character verses society because the male is causing panic for an entire community and this will forever be remembered in the hearts of this community and maybe for the world if there is one.

Setting: In the forest somwhere in the world. In a town, in a room where docters are treating a patient.
Time: Most likely in the future as there are no men except this one, says that men destroyed the world, government collapsed and world is in peace now bc women run it so in the future at some time
