Am enjoying this. Seems accurate Biblically though some speculation.

The mystery is just starting. Merrideth and Abby are getting to know the neighborhood and the computer.

Finished the article on books not included in the canon.

Couldn't put this down last night (actually this morning) until the POW's were set free. An interesting account of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Louie had survived Watanabe, the man who made it his goal to break him.

Just picked up by the Japanese. Now on to POW camp.

The crash has occurred and the 3 survivors are now stranded in the ocean.

The story line has gotten well into the war and some interesting missions.

Just finished Part 1. Basically, childhood, Olympics and pre-war.

Saw the movie and wanted the completed story. I have also read Seabiscuit and know I like the author's writing style.

Devastating! Interesting what a 9.2 would do to a city and the people involved. Interesting following the various characters as they act and interact.

Experienced the 7.2 earthquake in the Santa Cruz/ San Francisco area in '89. Can not imagine an earthquake so much stronger than that one.

Good so far. Chapters are mostly 2 pages so I am taking it question by question.
