Did he even do any research into what rape survivors go through, especially in court?! Why is everything so easy breezy?!!

Really struggling to get through this one. In two minds about dnfing the entire series. 😓 Why'd he have to ruin it!

The subconscious misogyny, racism and classism are pissing me off, and nothing about the characters has really grabbed my attention or created enough integue for me to continue reading. DNF

I've just realised that this is about a DIFFERENT Jane 😅

It didn't get any better 🙄 onto the other stories.

It's getting progressively worse 😮‍💨 I wish I had never picked this up, but at least now I know that a novel isn't good or even decent just because it's a classic.

Already finding it difficult to read because of the language used to describe women and people who aren't white! I knew this would be the case considering the time it was written, but still 😮‍💨

Probably getting ahead of myself, but it's already good. Really enjoying the writing.
