I can already tell October is going to be a bad reading month between returning to work and getting sick I’ve has no energy.

I read a lot of content that is not appropriate for minors therefore if you are a minor I will not accept your friend request. I’m truly sorry and it’s not personal.

I read this years ago and have been meaning to reread it since I remember loving it so much but this headache says I got to put it down for now.

As an asexual who struggled for years coming to terms with what I am I can’t express enough how glad I am to see Andrew in this book. I just wish when I actually was in the YA demographic I had an Andrew but he’s here for this generation.

And yes I’m aware Andrew is a mess and clearly not mentally well but it’s still asexual rep.

I picked this up based on how pretty it looks I can admit that.

I’m enjoying Phaedra’s parts of the story more than Ariadne’s.

I admit I’m going into this one pretty blind as I don’t really know the story of Ariadne.

Last year after I finished The Long Game I listened to the other 4 books and Troy and Harris’s story was my favorite so I knew I’d want to read and annotate it so that’s what I’m doing now.

It can’t be this obvious where Emma is can it?

I just do not understand how there can be so much good in a book yet for it to also feel like it’s dragging on and on

It has been 267 pages and still there is no hint of seeing how these 3 women are connected.
Matteo is the character I’ve connected with the most and now he’s gone.
I need this book to get to the point.

I notice that people seem to really love or really hate this one

I have no clue what has taken me so long to read this as I’ve always been a huge Hunger Games fan.

Almost done but it’s not happening tonight.

Not sure if I like or dislike this so far.

These scumbags in this book are pissing me off.

So far all I have is that Elodie is a terrible mother

I don’t know what it is but I do not want to put this down.

So far I am loving just how horrible of a person Fu Wanqing is. It’s refreshing to have a main character that isn’t nice and a hero.

“The happy years” this section is named. Someone needs to sit Hanya Yanagihara down and tell her what the word happy means.

Rest in piss Caleb. Good riddance.

I really struggled with the sections of drug fueled JB. I don’t know why it had to be so long, again too much text, or why the author chose to make him so unlikable. Yes I get drugs change a person but I felt there was so need besides to continue making Jude a punching bag. Sigh. Hasn’t this guy been through enough?

I can safely say that I am far enough into this story that I can say there is so much text that can be removed and it’s driving me insane.

I do feel for Jude though what a tragic character

This is a colossal book and I already have heard stories about how heavy it is I’m actually so scared

My book wheel has landed on A little life and I’m scared 😭😭

I might end up DNFing this as it’s pretty long and the overly lyrical prose is getting on my nerves.
