This book started out strong, but it has gotten a little too slow and monotonous. We’ll see if it picks up before the end.

I made the mistake of starting this book during a really busy month and haven’t given the proper time to read it through. Hopefully I will finish it this week.

I normally love a dark demon Romance, but this one is not hitting for me. We’ll see if I end up caring about either of these characters in the end.

This is a dry heavily academic read, or listen since I’m audiobooking it. Taking my time in between chapters, so I don’t burn out on it

Straight up erotica

For as long as this book is, I feel like the plot has been lost to world building and character development. I am still not sure what the goal is of all these characters.

I’m waiting to care about someone or something. I’m not really sure what the plot is even supposed to be, but maybe we’ll get there. This is very Game of Thrones vibe and I did not like the Game of Thrones books so we’ll see how this goes.

I am being slammed with exposition and plot. It makes me angry that the third book didn’t move the plot at all and now the fourth book is trying to shove it all into one.

This is gonna be one of those long epic’s. I actually have to pay really close attention to the audiobook or I’m gonna miss something.

Ugh, ophelia and Thorn being separated yet again.

I am literally about to throw this book again. I have invested so much emotion into the relationship of these 2 characters in the last two books and the author is absolutely ripping it to shreds.

Out of audiobook listening hours, gonna have to finish in July.
