I've been through more airports than I can count, but Minneapolis/St Paul Airport is my favorite, so it was fun to think of my characters frequently flying in and out of there.

Fun fact: My husband was excited to show me a few hockey fight reels, so I could better capture this scene. Nothing would make him happier than if I'd legitimately fall in love with sports. I prefer to write about them. ;)

My favorite thing about this couple: I love their banter, both when they're enemies and when they're lovers. And I love that they're both chefs who bond over cooking.

What's my favorite part of writing small town?

I love the sense of community and the quirky people that you can really get to know since you're seeing them on a regular basis.

“Well, well. Some- one’s true wishes are coming out.”
“Excuse me?” Eyes narrowed, lasers fired.
“You heard me.” I lean close to her and lower my voice just enough that only she can hear me. “You want me to eat your goods. I heard your favorite is pound cake...”

What is my favorite thing about this couple?
I love how well they communicate. That the sparks were there from the beginning, but they become good friends too while they're falling in love. And I love how compassionate they are.

This is the last book in the series! I'll miss everything about this series. It's been so fun to write!
