It’s not that I haven’t been this excited about a book in a long time it’s just I haven’t been excited in this particular way where I want this book to consume me like I want to memorize the lines and I wish it could somehow osmosis itself so I could create something this great

WOW I love this book so so much. Jenny Slate took her magical pretty fingers and pulled away and discovered some sort of magical little glittering inlet that we share. It’s so magical, and funny, and sweet. I don’t often say this but I read this book and wish I would’ve written parts of it, or like she was in my head and my heart and pulled these bits out. Gah! I love it! A new favorite for sure.

I’ve never read a book quite like this one, it’s so refreshing, it’s like catching up with an old friend in the city and also feels like my own inner monologue at times when I have been in the city as a young woman
