repeat- LOVE the pacing

love this pace!!

honestly it reads as a bit of a haley self insert in the first chapters, and not a lot of growth or story development has happened as of yet? I’m about to start chapter 14 and the MC’s has shared like 3 conversations as present day adults.

I appreciate so much that there’s an actual therapist involved and all of our problems weren’t solved by a man 🤢

I understand our FMC a bit better now, but how can anyone decide they don’t want to be loved by our MMC? such a true adoration

Kind of obsessed. FMC is grinding my gears a little bit but MMC keeps me going

like they’re kind of toxic but I’m picturing him as Roman Reigns and it makes everything 10x hotter

incredible. i don’t have the words to describe the emotions this book is giving me. i both can’t wait to finish it, and never want it to end.

it’s early days but I’m not really gripped. there’s nothing that is making me feel invested, like I want to know more about these characters 🤷🏻‍♀️

gosh I love this book. the real potential for a 5 star read. every time I hazard a guess of what’s happening, I’m so incredibly wrong but I love the direction it goes every time

the characters are baffling me and pissing me off but that’s how i know im invested

I’m enjoying the pacing, sometimes the time-jumps are a little difficult to keep up with like I’m not sure is she still on the phone, how long have they known each other, etc, but the romance is moving in a lovely way. I’ve read 116 pages in an evening so I must be hooked!

It’s page seven and Lana Ferguson just referred to the loch ness monster as a ‘he’??? do I have to live through the whole book like this?

I love it so far! The character development is unreal, the humour is for real, this book will be read multiple times!!

I’m taking it very slow and easy with this one, but I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far! Suspenseful, intense, mysterious. I’m hooked!

So far I’m not enjoying it. I’d usually say like up to page 70 is building the setting and getting to know the characters, but I’m already in part 2 of the book and I don’t really feel like I know any of the characters. The only feeling I’m getting from this is that the main character is autistic and just not diagnosed, which makes for a lot of him not understanding social concepts. 2.5 stars as it stands.
