I'm hooked!

Firstly, I really like how Kennedy Ryan starts the book with new characters straight away - it sparked my curiosity and made me eager to continue since I had no clue who I was reading about
I'm also really enjoying Soledad's POV so far. Reading about how she's currently navigating her life as a married woman who is dealing with a new insecurity brought about by her husband and sexless marriage is interesting.

Oh gosh I just had a feeling that something bad was gonna happen but I still felt pain when she got that call 😭 HOWEVER! I hate that I wasn't able to really feel those emotions because our gurl Tabitha decided to do something very stupid.. and weird tbh but oh well

I'm glad she has friends and family to tell her that the promotion situation wasn't actually entirely a bad thing 🤦🏾‍♀️

Okay Tabitha just irritated me 🤦🏾‍♀️ why is she mad at Chris about the promotion! Chilllleee she's too deep in her thoughts about "fighting" as a black woman 🤦🏾‍♀️

Reading via audiobook and I'm liking it so far 👌🏾

Yh this book is incredible 🤌🏾 the way Kennedy Ryan has the ability to make me feel anger over a FICTIONAL situation(especially in that last chapter!) Is crazy! I had to stop reading for a sec cuz my heart rate increased too much and I needed to regulate my breathing back to normal

This book has me Gripped (pun very much intended) 🤌🏾🤌🏾

I adore this book so much! Grip and Bristol need to stop playing tho 😒 🙄
