Yan Wushi pisses me off.

This volume is much slower-paced than the previous one, much to my disappointment.

The found family trope is the only thing keeping my sanity intact rn because holy crap did I not see that plot twist coming!!! In hindsight, I should’ve expected it…

The plot thickens! I’m kinda siding with Yan Wushi here, human nature is often terrible (and it’s even worse in wuxia novels).

So far, there is no chemistry at all between the MCs, so I have trouble imagining how their dynamic will develop.

Also, let my boy Shen Qiao catch a break!

I love Shen Qiao already! What a good guy. He has principles but is no pushover.

Ngl, I’m really intimidated by this series! But I’ve heard good things about it, too, so I’m going to give it a try.

What’s with all the tragedy :’(

Also, I do NOT like the Trasks (except for sweet little Aron). I just know things will go bad for them.

No way the main story ended like that😭 The extras had better be amazing bc Priest really gave us NOTHING

I can feel that the conflict with the West is close to coming to an end. Finally! It’s only been going on for 4 books!!!

Aside from that, there are still quite a few loose ends to wrap up. I just want the main characters to be happy and healthy together. Also, kudos to the mvp of the story, Chen Qingxu! Our girl deserves the best!

Honestly, the book could’ve ended with chapter 24 and it would’ve been a masterpiece.

Samuel and Lee are the best characters so far!

Thèse guys never seem to catch a break…

We finally got the time skip we needed! And somehow, the political situation got even worse

So much scheming
