This magic system is super unique.

The way this series has demanded all my time the last four days is unreal haha. Anxious to see how it ends, but also not ready to be done with this world or these characters

I am straight up devouring this series.

This book is exactly what I needed. A sassy, hard headed FMC. A cocky, tall, dark and handsome MMC. Why did I wait so long to start this series.

Immersive reading this. Already loving the vibes, and the narration is really good.

Calling it early... but I think this is going to be my favorite of the series.

Ok, I REALLY appreciate when authors include a super short and sweet recap. I mean I read The Ever King 2 months ago...why does it feel like a lifetime? Love how this picks right back up.

Ok. I am loving this. It's taking me a bit longer to read just because I've had zero time to eye ball read. Love the FMC. Love the magical creatures. Intrigued by the old crone and what she took. Anxious to see where this story goes. Oh...and who's going to be the love interest?!? I've got ideas lol

Loving the relationship between Trey and Bones... did I already say that? lol While this is a baby read...there are moments of levity that sneak in. I feel like although the world is bleak and the characters are just trying to survive there's so much more to their stories.

Loving the relationship growing between Bones and Trey. I understand her not wanting to trust the group, but hopefully we get past that soon...

Ok. So I don't like Madame. Ugh. Evil woman. Loving how the group is taking care of Bones though.

This story is told from such a unique POV. Really enjoying.

This is so different from anything I've read. I'm listening to the audio, which is done really well, but it's such a unique story. It's being told from the main characters POV, but he's telling a story as it's happening. Really enjoying this.

Ok, right off the bat we have a witch that is separated from her coven in a dying land. Her magic is dwindling, and she's basically turning parlor tricks to survive. I'm intrigued.
