I read volumes 1-3 in a single book so my review is going to be spoiler free and the same for all.

I've been wanting something fresh and heard great things about this series, and I was BLOWN AWAY at the story, character building, and action. I am so ready to read all of this.

Also, Louis Armstrong is a little freak I love him so much

He thought of the Water Sellers, their way destroyed by the lavish dispensing from his hands. They hated him. He'd slain the past. And there were others, even those who'd fought for the sols to buy precious water, who hated him for changing the old ways.

'He doesn't like wizards and witches much,' Mort Volunteered.
'Nobody likes a smartass,' she said with some satisfaction. 'We give him trouble, you see. Priests don't, so he likes priests.'

Whenever I thought of Puerto Rico, I was reminded of those old magnetic clocks that hung on the walls of my classrooms in high school.
