A line from the book that has stopped me in my tracks, “Lord, You can turn the hearts of kings. Surely You can turn my dad’s.” After a moment’s pause, he added, “And mine too.” How often do we pray for God to change the heart of someone else and we don’t stop to think about the turning our own heart needs? So, this has stuck with me.
