I wrote a threat to my TBR that I was coming for it only to pick up a brand new book and read that instead rip lol. But my residency applications are in (I have 6 interviews so far hell yeah) and now imma roll up my sleeves and get BUSY on this TBR

Great news, I’m almost out of the pits of hell (board exam and residency application submission) so big warning to my TBR that I’m coming for it soon

I was so excited for this installment yall. Why is it…kinda dragging? I don’t know, I’m getting bored I can’t lie.

I wanna read the books of substance on my TBR so bad but between studying for boards and maintaining my CV, all I have time for are short standalone fluff books😭

So glad I leave a review for most books I read because I have the memory of a literally gnat. I saw a book and was like omg I loved that book, then saw my previous review and was like ohhhhh no wait I didn’t😭

Y’all I just found out there’s a movie for Wait For Me by Amy Daws?! I just read that omg imma have to clock into that

GIRLLLL WTF WHERE IS YOUR SHAME😭

oh they’re both jorkin it alone to thoughts of each other okay cool, at least they’re matching freaks

I’m sorry, not her running up to her room to get the vibe right after he leaves😭 GIRL STAND UP

home girl’s inner monologue is coming in strong😭 she’s real for that but idk how to feel about it yet

I wish that I had time to read the deeply thought provoking books I wanna read but this medical school business is kicking my ass. All I wanna read is fluff😭

I’ve come to realize that I HATE third act break ups because one person decides not to communicate

since TikTok has been temporarily shut down imma start getting through my TBR I guess😭

What are y’all’s favorite reads recently? I’m looking for recs because I’m exhausted looking at how long my TBR is😭

men yearning. that’s it, that’s the post.

alright imma be the town crier for a sec: HEAR YE HEAR YE go read taming the beast by Brigid Finn, it’s changed my life for at least the next week

The pacing for their relationship is weird. Very random, hot and cold for no legit reason

It’s worse than I thought… SHES GONNA BE CAUGHT RUBBING HERSELF (with her pants down) ON THE ARM OF A CHAIR IN HIS STORE IN BROAD DAYLIGHT???!?!!! yall idk if I can even make it through them meeting atp

No way she’s about to meet him for the first time with her hands in her pants in the empty bookstore NO WAY DAWG 😭😭 plssss noooo

I’m gonna read this, but mentioning how absolutely large and muscled his brother Egon is on page 2 does not bode well for my patience😭 I need Egon’s book yesterday, and it doesn’t come out until April

I am scared to read Iron Flame because I hate miscommunication trope😭

I will “one more chapter” myself to death one day

back to studying unfortunately. Y’all would not believe the number of cancers and drugs on this “quiz” tomorrow (it’s 45 questions). rip

y’all I do not want to re-enter reality tomorrow. Me wanting to be a doctor✨🧚‍♀️😍💕 me when medical school is actually hard 😳💥🧍🏼‍♀️🥶

Golden weekend! Time to ignore my giant TBR and find new mindless spicy books to pass the time because I have no self control

me changing a book back to “want to read” because it had a glossary in the front and I have an exam in a week🧍🏼‍♀️ almost got a little too much dip on my chip

If yall aren’t reading small town low-angst monster romances what are you doing? (this is a cry for help)

Y’all I can’t take this seriously. “In the short time I’d known her she’d never given up” boy you’ve known her for 12hrs and most of that was sleeping?? Insane
