Unfortunately, I'm not really attached to the main character, but all of the things connected to childbirth, midwives, women in general are so fucking sad. How can a death of a child be a blessing ? I'm speechless and i'm fucking hurt

I think I can't read these types of books. I'm getting so furious with this world and how it always portrayed women, especially midwives.

It is funny that i just finished a book about chasing tornadoes and now i started a similar one, also about hurricanes and storms. I suppose summer brings this vibe into life 😃
