We think it's how the domestic violence works. The abuser was beaten in the childhood, that's why he beats his wife and children. But no, this explains only his behaviour yet not his actions

I've never read more abusive book in my whole life. There're just a hell lot of types of abuse - parents, husbands, just men.

I didn't expect that domestic violence is a huge part of the plot and I'm cool with it. I hate with my whole heart men who abuses women yet I think it's a great addition to the story per se.
