The parallels between this book and In the Dream House are very interesting. It is almost like I am reading the female abusers pov. There were many statements throughout Dream House that mentioned how no one ever realizes that women can be abusers too, not just men.

Ok so I was really confused as to what was going on in first half but continued because I liked the writing , then realized she’s a fricking zombie ! And now that I have that info I want to go back and reread the first half and I’m actually willing to considering how short it is and I’m enjoying it. Idk what I thought she was beforehand, I guess just some ghost traveling through time/space.
