My first Murakami book. Tsukuru Tazaki is so unbelievably relatable to the way I think about myself and my life. I'm getting a clinical, neutral, and detached style from Murakami here - I wonder if it's present in all of his books? The characters are so well done, they all feel real to me. Lots of good quotes in here for when I'm feeling lonely or down.

Still very helpful! I think I may have found a new ritual or rhythm for daily life. Whenever I do “caretasks” around the apartment, I love putting this on. Not only does the author rewire my brain, but I’m putting her kind words into action at the same time. :)

This book has taught me so much. I literally can't imagine going through my daily life without having this book help me reassess my mindset the way it has.

Read a good portion underneath Adia’s bed on the fold out couch. Really hits hard when you’re alone and in the dark. I’m currently watching Death Note, which seems to have a few similar themes! Interesting.

So far EXTREMELY helpful in my journey to be more present throughout the day and take care of myself. Can’t communicate how validating this is. Listening to the audiobook which is great.

Picking this book up on a whim because of a recommendation I saw online. Someone said this is their go-to whenever they feel depressed or lonely. I've been feeling that way recently. Why not take a chance on this?

I have this next to my nightstand table and am reading a little bit (almost) every night as I go,
