I like period stuff like this usually, but this reads like a history textbook - which is ok, I guess. It's not exactly a coherent telling of the story more than a smattering of facts and quotes. Good for background noise if you're doing other stuff.

Sadistic and satiric, this one is cool so far. My only regret is that I guessed the ending before 10% of the book was up.

Like Cocoon, but potentially more gross? It's "Nick Cutter," it's gonna be gross. S/O to Stephen King's Golden Years, S/O to Benjamin Button.

SO BORING, and if I'd thought the book would just get worse over the course of 50 hours, I'd have actually skipped this one. The characters are repellant people, off-putting scum. I don't understand the appeal to want to write such a shit story. This is the same guy that wrote Five-Star rated "SHOGUN." SMH. Fuck every character in this book especially Angelique's gold-digging ass.
