First time listening to an audiobook narrated by the author and not liking it. Too much random shouting and high volume expression

I’m powering through but this is much less interesting than the first book

Loving this audiobook and storytelling

Reads like y/a and I’m not looking for that right now

Starting to dislike the flashbacks, they’re less useful after we get the general idea

Trying to take off the oldest books on my tbr

I hope this audiobook lives up to the hype

Title should not be taken literally

Not loving the distant tone and not getting the cult vibe i was interested in reading about

Listening to the audiobook this time and it’s just as good (so far i wouldn’t say better)

Started over with Andy Serkis narrating and i prefer this so much more

I’m fairly sure i know who is doing the killing and the twist but I’ll still power through. I feel like the hinting is too in the face for someone who is as analytic as I am when reading
