It‘s still one of my favorite books. And I hate that because it makes me feel sympathy with the abuser while still being disgusted with him and then myself

This book manages to finally alleviate me of the tiny sliver of guilt I felt every time I jokingly or even seriously said that I hated men.

I wonder whether Spielberg‘s movie has a scene where two people talk about their sexual fantasies and how big and/or tight they are.
