A comprehensive review of the historical and cultural perspectives that have dominated the development of Phoenix and the Southwest. Not something I could read in one sitting, but an important text, especially for residents, to understand our community and how we got here. Some of the text can feel dated, but it’s still an interesting when you know how programs, politics, and movements, actually played out.

This was a cheeky way to address a topic that millions of Americans experience but few write about. HOA’s and the standard Southwest suburb and truly an interesting case study about how we live.
