Experiencing major highs and lows of the plot at this point - undecided if I love the inconsistency or not..

I have many thoughts and most of them are not great.. It seems this book becomes an increasing disappointment as chapters go on. Marching through it though!

This book is radiant with detail and imagery, as well as already showing how passionate this fictional take is on Katherine of Aragon. She’s both a figure in which I’m both familiar and a stranger to, especially in this story..! ♡

So far, it’s digestible, elegant, and visionary. The detail of Seville from the eyes of Francisca are immaculately worded. It makes one feel as if they’re there with her.
