I needed some popular fantasy to get me out of my reading rut

Wow it’s soooo clear that I’m not the target audience for this book. I need to stop reading about Americans who move to France and don’t know French/french culture. It is so uncomfortable. I also hate the author’s choice to italicize certain French words she has chosen to insert. Why are you putting “les bicyclettes” and “non” in italics? Also hate the pharmacy interaction - more on that later
