Update 17 July 2025 - I can already see the plot twist and i know what's gonna happen. Nevertheless the book is really good so far

Guys HELP I'm in a HUGE reading slump because I just finished reading tswtdate by Adam Silvera and that book was ACTUALLY ONE OF THE BEST. I don't want to stop reading because I was on such a roll (8 books in 13 days). But agghgggghh 😭

This chapter was about Paz, Alano, and Alano's friend Rio at Universal. And poor Paz was the third wheel. IT WAS SO SADDD !! I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL PAZ I ALWAYS BECOME THE THIRD WHEEL 💔

It almost feels like it's lacking a plot and just focusing on romance? Like the author didn't try.. I probably am in the minority here (and sounding super shallow because I know this book is supposed to be about character growth for Eden) but I'm not liking it

This is really good.. you know, the biggest climax is usually at the end, and I just finished reading the biggest climax so I feel like I'm about to finish it 😭

I got this from my library, and it was wrapped in paper so I could do a blind date! I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise because it definitely doesn't look like it would be for me, but I am enjoying it very much!

A story told from two perspectives. We get little snippets of Nya's story at the beginning of each chapter.

Okay. Yeah. I rated this 2 stars the first time I read this..

It's not any better, it's really horrible. Why is this so horrible? It's really SLOW and nothing is happening and I want to chuck it into the woods, but I want to finish this series and finish the pjo universe

This is SLOW. And I mean SLOW. Looking at it a different way you could say it's going super fast, because a whole year at Foxfire passed in one page. But also nothing's happening! On at least every page it mentions that they don't have any progress on.. wait, what are they trying to do again??

I can see how Talltail would be angry at Sparrow.. I think I would be as well. But still, Sparrow was just curious about the gorge tunnel. He didn't know it would collapse therefore killing Sandgorse 🤷

I really like the book so far. When I read it a few years ago, I think I was quite young and didn't understand what was going on.

To be fair, I hadn't finished the Percy Jackson series yet when I first read this. But now I can understand better because I have finished Percy Jackson #5
