Being able to hear Jamie and Gavin's story come to life was something I've been looking forward to for a while. Reading it is one thing, listening to it brings it to an entirely new level. I love this!

Julian Rousseaux is a cocky yet charming vampire. He's captivated me from the very beginning (I guess that's the point since he's a predator that's exactly how he's meant to be).

Entering that party knowing there's a ton of vampires with little to no concern for her safety makes me think Thea is either clinically insane or a badass I'm just not sure which yet.

This is actually kind of sweet.

She's entirely sheltered while also having suffered a ton. He's in the midst of grieving his older brother and taking on a lot of responsibility that he may or may not be ready for. Together they're finding their way and its beautiful in its simplicity.

This could be someone's life- it is so many people's lives.

Not only did these two dads have to bury their sons, they are now on a mission to find the person/persons responsible for their murders. This novel has torn my heart open and ripped my soul to shreds. 💔

The audiobook narration is incredible.

The rage that whole scene caused. 🤬 There is no redemption for a small, tiny man. There's a HUGE difference between dominance and humiliation. There's no coming back from what you just made her endure. None whatsoever.

I thought after Cupcake we were getting somewhere, but with this, it's the final nail in your coffin. You are despicable, and quite frankly, I think you might just be bipolar as well.
