started this again during intermission yesterday on a whim. it was not on my plan for this month, but here we are. i forgot how good this book is 🥹

i like this and i keep sitting down thinking i want to read it and then i keep getting distracted! i probably have an hour left so hopefully i’ll finish on my flight today!

slow start, this is definitely feeling like the second book in a trilogy

the story is really still just beginning but i know i am about to devour this whole series this is so good. first new five star read of the year potential

tbh there hasn’t rly been much plot, like what even is happening. main character is so out of the loop he finds out everything second hand. like henry is clearly gonna implode at some point, but idk when…

ok it’s kind of getting started now… very slow going, but not bad

ok so there are a few itty bitty things that i’m maybe a little lost abt, but otherwise i am so invested! i can’t wait to watch the show after i finish this!

ok so quite enjoying this, also have to point out that chapter one was 2.5 hours long, and chapter 2 is less than twenty minutes AHAHA

i’m actually enjoying this a lot more than i expected for being so early on in a historical fiction

this is medium ok… still don’t like kai azer’s voice being james, and they’re both kind of annoying me, but it’s not terrible? i like that he’s a farmer AHAHA

they’re getting less annoying but other things are getting more annoying ?? also kai azer said a bad word i don’t like this 😭

haha murderbot is so funny, we haven’t even gotten to real action, but i like him. i really hope i like this book so i can spend a few more books with him lol

well i love james but rn these ppl are annoying me. i have no sympathy for characters who are self pitying and are convinced that they can only fail in life
