Oh wow this book is great if you love disasters. This one starts with an alien intruder hitting every major human settlement, including Earth, with a relativistic bullet traveling over 90% the speed of light. The story is about the very, very few survivors

This book is very long but is sooooo interesting. A prediction of what will take place with climate change over the next couple of decades from multiple viewpoints. It didnt predict the second Trump administration but it did predict something similar.

Did you all know if it gets too hot (temperatures we are already seeing) planes can’t take off? And they could just drop out of the sky if it gets too bad?

I enjoy these stories but holy hell Poe’s prose is difficult to get through. Some stories are bogged down by complicated sentences. Hard to explain. I think these might be better heard than read?

Yeah this is a really good book…not sure what I was thinking before. Probably would have been freaky reading this around when COVID came out 😂

DNF years ago for some reason. Not sure why!

I’m going to see this one through but wow it’s kind of a slog. A subset of people are born with the power to control (most) people mentally. Like puppets. These people have been behind many major assassinations, play games with peoples lives, etc. cool premise but it’s already obnoxiously long with stiff prose…randomly you’ll get 30 pages of backstory…plus many many TW’s, very edgy. It’s ok.

Free with kindle unlimited and recommended for horror fans 🤷‍♂️

I’m going to be honest - I am probably going to read everything by Stephen King through the next year or two. I cannot get enough of his writing.

set in 2025, gonna find out what we are in for next year. haven’t seen the movie, I’m sure everything is fine 😎

It literally gets intense in the 1st chapter. The man doesn’t lie (really good so far)
