this one has a completely different undertone than the bone season had and I’m so here for it!!!!!

I don’t wanna share it on it here because of possible spoilers but let me tell you the opening paragraph of this book is SO GOOD. I quite literally screamed!!!!!

I watched practical magic for the first time and was severely disappointed so now I’m picking this up :)

jeremiah asking noelle to tell him about the book she’s reading every time she picks a new one up 🫦

guys I really think this will be a 5 star!!! everything about this book is chef’s kiss

this is SO GOOD so far!!!

“but it’s still summer” i scream as they drag me away

(yes it’s almost september & yes i just started a peak summer romance book sue me)

well that was…shocking to say the least

the way my face scrunches up every time colt calls alice ‘kid’ like PLEASE you’re not her dad 😭

wait I really like this author’s writing! it’s hard to write about fall & a fall festival without being cringey (or at least that’s the experience I’ve had with a lot of books I’ve *tried* to read 🫩)

‘How strange and unexpected,’ he said, ‘that this should be so difficult.’

STOP 😫 I’m like two seconds away from crying

the whiplash that went through my body 😭 everything was so sweet and nice and peaceful ugh

I’m so anxious I feel like something bad is bound to happen 🫩

samantha shannon, I love the way your mind works!!!!

HEHEHEHEHE

I’m reading this any moment I can, it’s SO GOOD

“He was the single most beautiful and terrible thing I had ever laid eyes on.”

is this teasing an enemies to lovers type thing or do I overanalyse everything 🫪

first fantasy book I’ve picked up in a while but I’m excited!!

oh this book is MESSYYY 😭

lucy and marsh’s dedication to being the bigger person is inspiring but also sometimes you do need to cuss a girl out I’m sorry

GOD I love fake dating!!!

I’ve barely had time to read but everytime I pick this up I’m addicted to it all over again 🙂‍↔️

“There are things the world doesn’t know about his life, but it doesn’t matter because he wears everything he is on his skin, and it gives him the beauty of the sun.”

🥹🦋🌟

slowly but surely 😌

the most gorgeous cover!!!

“I didn’t expect love to hurt like this. To ache. To burrow deep into my bones and physically pull me toward her. She’s part of me, wrapped around every nerve and muscle and bone, and to be separated from her is like missing a piece of myself.”

absolutely pathetic…just how I like it!!! 🧎‍♀️

idk I feel like I missed some chapters! their pacing was fine until they dropped the L bomb 😭 now I’m just slightly confused
