I’m struggling to read this book.

Very interesting. I’m wondering why Jason felt the need to take the picture of the giveaways near the trailers rather than at the powwow circle. Did Eli and Rayanne have a relationship?

Intriguing and suspenseful. Wish the font in the book was bigger.

MMIW needs more attention and this book appears to be doing just that.

Enjoying the story although I’m having trouble pronouncing the names of the characters and places however the story line is very interesting.

This book is scary in the sense that so many wrongs could happen without consequences. It’s sad to think that one race had so much power over another.

To think “haunts” existed at the reformatory should not be surprising. I’m currently at a point in the book where I’m questioning why the father left his kids (or weather didn’t send for them). Gloria is trying to save her little brother but I think it’s only going to make matters worse. It never dawned on me just who Blue really was.

Although much of the events occurring are totally out in left field, I find the book to be interesting. I can’t put too much thought as to whether this would happen in the “real world” but it is keeping me interested.

So so good. Keeps you coming back for more. I can’t wait to find out the connection. Was Evelyn somehow connected to Monique’s father’s death???

I’m thinking the coroner is involved.

It’s truly disappointing that people cannot love who they want to love. Likewise, it’s heartbreaking when a person is forced to hide who they are. If two people are meant to be together, they should be, regardless of whether others think. It’s sad that Evelyn didn’t realize that until it was too late.

This book is extremely captivating. Don Adler may be Evelyn’s first true love but it’s obvious she is not his - fame is his true love. I believe there is a connection between Monique’s father and Evelyn. Perhaps something happened when he was in Vancouver for 2 months??

Erne Diaz was Evelyn’s escape from Hells Kitchen. She made it out. She used Ernie for what she wanted and needed. I’m glad Ernie remarried and had children. He actually got something beneficial out of the divorce also. Now we know how Evelyn Hugo came about. Cameron is now in her life - I wonder how long she knew him before they get married.

So far, so good. I’m curious why Evelyn chose Monique to write her autobiography and how Monique will explain what occurred to Vivant. Is there a connection between Monique’s father and Evelyn? Or, perhaps Monique’s deceased mother and Evelyn?
