I’m not invested currently just chugging along, I predict 3 stars.

Starting to lag a bit but still enjoying this read

Throughly enjoying this read. Keep having out loud reactions and staying up too late reading ittt 🙃

“wouldn’t it be wonderful if in real life, we too were able to always come up with the kind of responses that were helpful to our children&helpful to ourselves?But life isn’t a neat little script that can be memorized and performed.The real life dramas that children engage us in every day don’t give us time for rehearsal or careful thought.”

“We have to stop thinking of the child as a “problem” that needs correction. We have to give up the idea that because we’re adults we always have the right answer. We have to stop worrying that if we’re not “tough enough” the child will take advantage of us.”

Of course jumped to the chapter on environmental toxins.. & apparently the pheromones from a girls biological father will delay the early onset of puberty 👀 That’s a new one, but okay God, do work.

Did someone say EC? Love when a random book validates my counter cultural ways!

I do wish I had a physical copy of this book because when they describe the workouts/ tests my brain is like waaah?

Learning a lot of new stuff so far. Planks are way better than sit ups. Thank god. & A good gut microbiome can decrease social anxiety. Whaaat!? 🤯 Lots of good basic information too. Looking forward to what I’ll learn in the last half.
