This book and The Scammer by Tiffany D. Jackson are cousins. They are also both related to the book Augustown.

The FMC is insufferable. The mess she puts her self in was completely unnecessary and avoidable. I wanted to DNF this book so many times. I only finished because it’s part of a reading challenge. The author is a great writer, it’s just the story is unrealistic and messy.
