at the beginning, i thought the mc was a boy but it was a girl. the plot was quite predictable and the details of how the characters in the story looked like were good. i started reading this book because of its cover and also because it appeared on my instagram reel once and i also just finished reading kingdom of wicked (book 3) so i wanted to find a book that was dark fantasy :)
