It’s a little funny.

I think I expected too much out of this after loving Ninth House and Hell Bent. This wasn’t horrible just predictable. I hope the next book is better.

This is the grossest fever dream I have ever read. I still like it though even though I almost puked at about 34%

The first 100ish pages were awesome. Whenever they get on the boat I started to lose interest. I was expecting better banter during this time. Now we are finally off the boat. I hope we get some good action.

I am going to love this just as much as I did We Ate the Dark.

I am finally not confused by this plot. I'm probably slow but it has taken me a while to catch on.

I am finishing this purely only to see if it's as predictable as I think it's going to be.

I am loving this book. I am trying so hard to figure out who did it and I have no clue - a couple suspicions. I just really don't think its who or what the protagonist thinks.
