man..... i somehow just remembered this book turned a century old four days ago.

and i also have an ebook of it in the depths of my Google Drive.

i tried to read this back in ninth grade, but i remembered the writing turned me off (turns out i was just too innocent what was going on at the time lol). and now i've pushed past the first chapter and now i lowkey fw it :))

YEAHHHHH we are so back! I've decided to set a goal that I read a book everyday for one hour in my busy life so that's cool :)

this book was definitely worth the wait.... so far (source: that one twist halfway thru this book that shooketh me too the core sm that i need to take a quick break from [re]grinding tf outta this series sm lmaooo. iykyk)

nahh some of the reviews weren't lying when they said this book was kinda funny. but bro how could i laugh when, being almost finished this book, i'm literally on the edge of my damn seat at this point 😭💀

yes, i am listening to this on audiobook. so far, they're great! might consider doing the same for my personal books.

despite that low percentage, i am actually almost done this! such a shame that this was shorter than i expected.

as someone who is more of a 20th-century classic savvy, i thought that i am surprised on how digestible this is so far, if not, this was the inspiration of my wonderful man Shrike (from the Mortal Engines series) - so i am excited - too bad my English classes fly by way too fast, lol

when i heard that this breezy story involves the Antichrist, idk why, but i thought they were joking and exaggerating... turns out i was wrong 💀🍷
