damn the pining. and i felt it somehow. i relate to anne in some ways, she got persuaded by her family to reject wentworths proposal and now 8 years later, she is still in love with him. no one else compares. and the regret has withered her in every way. i feel this now and makes me wonder if this is how it would be years later for me too. for jane, wentworth is still single and back. idk if i'll have that..

this book is really something. i never thought of things that way...

read just a few chapters and it's just like the show. funny and witty....

half way through and in the beginning what i thought of maxim was a player which he is and it's very disgusting.
all he did was fck women including his brothers wife after his brother died... but the way he deals with alessia is very beautiful, comforting and kind. all he has done for her so far is out of love and lust.

read it as a kid and it clearly did leave an impact on me. so did it now.
