I’m finally nearing the last few chapters of spiritual life hacks by len woods. Admittedly, it has taken me longer than expected to finish—not because of the book itself, but because work has kept me busy over the past few weeks.

I’m only a few chapters away from finishing, but I can already say this has been a worthwhile read. Looking forward to turning the final pages soon.

I’ve been dealing with burnout recently, and I’m hoping these book will inspire me to regain my enthusiasm and become more active again.

He has facial blindness and I wonder what the twist is.. also the author is making me question whether any of the characters can truly be trusted 😨

Part one of east of eden reminded me why some classics never fade. Beneath its family is a powerful reflection on love, identity, and the choices that shape our lives. While we inherit both blessings and burdens from those who came before us, we are still responsible for the choices we make. On to part two this august!

Steinbeck really said, “Let me introduce an entire valley before the plot starts,” and somehow I loved every page. The Hamiltons bring warmth, the Trasks bring tension, and I’m already invested. Slow-paced, beautifully written, and quietly setting up something much bigger.

A slow burn that’s already proving to be worth the hype.

I picked this book up again tonight on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying it. I’ve noticed that in Abby Jimenez’s novels, the main characters—regardless of gender—often seem to have complex relationships with their parents 😅

The narrative sheds light on how Kim Jong-un, the current leader, enjoys immense privilege while the North Korean citizens endure severe deprivation. The stark contrast between the leader's opulence and the people's suffering is both striking and deeply saddening.
