when the fuck does this get good. is there gonna be a sudden revelation at the end that somehow makes all before - worth it? is the point to bore the fuck out of me? the narrator whines on and on about how much he hates his main character. ok we get it shes fucking stupid. and then lispector occasionally drops an artsy fartsy one liner b4 it all repeats. pls talk abt smth else

76% and shit still hasnt hit the fan yet im scared

one more chapter to go #scary

annotating the fuck out of this book

i have to be the right headspace to keep reading this watching firestar grieve over both his closest friends is too much

“‘I’m not going anywhere.’
She tips her head back to look at me from under her wide eyelashes. ‘Promise?’”

SIGH.

i know what i signed up for but now i’m not ready to lose them…

“…what she loves so much about high school theater...catching a glimpse of a cute lead’s underwear when they’re quick-changing behind a towel in the wings” ew.? being gay or a woman does not make being a perv normal unfortunately

slowly but surely.. 💪

i just want to know why, if the erins wanted to add a self insert for their actual cat, did they make him the most annoying and underdeveloped character in the entire series and force everyone to put up with him for 30+ books (yes this is about brambleclaw, again)

cannot wait for this book to be over.

i absolutely LOATHE brambleclaw oh my god the fact he eventually outlives firestar makes me want to [REDACTED]
