ever since onyx storm came out in jan i haven’t recovered. it’s caused a huge problem cause now every book i try to read isn’t living up to it. i keep trying to something to cure my onyx storm hangover but no book is good enough and now im fighting back a really strong urge to reread all 3 books bc i havent reread them but i also started two other series does anyone have any recs pls

i’m scared bc as much as i love enemies to lovers i also get torn up about the waiting anyways i hope this is good 😭 i fear ill be back in a major reading slump if this is not

before anyone comes for me, i read this a while ago go but never finished the series (since it wasn’t completed) BUT I KNOW ITS BASICALLY A COPY OF RED QUEEN but i can’t help it i keep getting posts about this so i want to read it and if u think about it im not giving the author money so its okay

finalllyyyh reading a book again after the biggest slump i’ve had since 2022 ? anyways was in desperate need of a fantasy book so giving this a try since the last book is coming out next month. ngl i don’t have high hopes but im enjoying it

i know i said i started reading this days ago but it was actually only 2 days ago lol BUT im 15% into and so invested it’s crazy. i knew id always love secret history from the moment i read it but i underestimated how much. i know im only 15% in but its truly a masterpiece. the characters are so beautifully complex im absolutely in love and i have so much to say but ill save it for the review

ugh good reads won’t let me write more than 400 characters excuse me?? anyways i desperately need a book that’s literally going to DRAG me out of this reading by my hair so onto secret history bc PLS ive been trying to read this for so long and im sooo interested in the book but i truly need to be in a dark academia mood to read it and im glad to say its finally here

i fear i’ve been in the worst reading slump since 2023… i think it’s combination of a book club book + reading a book that i’m not really interested bc it apparently gets more interesting 😭 anyways im going to start a new book bc i literally lost my reading streak of 175 days 😭😭😭 im so sad ugh but its fine ill try again next year 🥲

this book is really slow 😭 i dont know if i like it, i dont hate it but i dont think i like it yet. i fear my expectations may have been too high (bc everyone and their mother said it was amazing) but some parts are very repetitive and unnecessary which is annoying but oh well i just started the flashbacks so its a bit more interesting now (pls tell me it gets better)
