Clear, concise and witty without being obtuse. Probably the most informative book any of us will read in our lifetime.

Sounds like the authors got some insecurities about not know technical music jargon. Like all fields, there are terms and complicated language which explain things and seems intimidating to the person unfamiliar with it. This doesn’t mean they are ‘unnecessarily complex’ or designed to ‘make non musicians feel inadequate’ as is claimed by the author.

Really a book about gratitude. Grows more touching and profound as it progresses.

Very enjoyable. Not one to keep you thinking about for hours but some beautiful themes emerge

Cool concept. Perhaps lacking in some detail and depth, but the odd profound and quotable moment.
