I really like this so far. Her story of falling in love with words and poetry is kinda like mine. But different. Everyone’s story is different. That’s what makes writing it down so important.

“I keep deciding I’m done. God keeps calling it a beginning. We are not, apparently, on the same schedule.”

This book is incredible. It’s making me laugh and cry. It’s a slow kind of healing to read a book like this. I’m trying to savor it. I can never read it for the first time again.

I love this book.

Did I expect a passage about potatoes to make me cry? No, I did not. Did I cry about the potato passage? Yes. Yes, I did.

So so good. I’m obsessed. Trisha is a wordsmith.
