i’m getting really fucking sick of all this possession crap and that the women are just basically there to be ‘claimed’ by the men. give me a break

i really like it! i love how quick it started and the worldbuilding happened as the plot progressed but at times it feels like it’s a little rushed. they just collected the relic and for such a dangerous mission it lacked putting me on the edge of my seat enough i think bc it was so quick and the tension couldn’t build

i like it so far. i also love the ‘totally spies’ style compact communication mirror 😭🥹

i’m starting to think this author hates women. there’s so many snide descriptions of women and i’m only on track 2 🥲 maybe it’s gabriel that hates women but there’s been so many insecurities and judgments coming through in the books i’ve read in this series so far it puts me off

i am so utterly consumed by this book. i thought i would never get over the first one and thought i couldn’t even bring myself to read this one but oh my god it is worth it. it is just so perfectly written. every part of this story tugs at my heart and if you could fall in love with a book… id say this feeling is pretty close to that

Ok I'm not a fan of the 'love' between Meira and Mather but... I love the action! I can't put this book down. And oh.. There's a special place in my heart for sir. 'This is a weirdly peaceful moment for sir and me. I fight down the giddiness that threatens to ruin it. "Should we hug or something?" Sir rolls his eyes. "Get your weapon. We head for cordell."

Oh my god Greta is such a bloody idiot. Feeling really uncomfortable about the scene of Cheskas 15 year old self meeting the cast of her movie. Ugh.

It's barely even begun, but I'm intrigued to find out Kelsea's story. Writing is okay. I've always liked all views (first person, third etc). But I'm not sure about this third person narrative in this book. I want to feel more connected to Kelsea.

Aww this story makes me sad. I hope the two girls/women get their happy endings!
