this is just the sweetest book, I adore waylay

I know that Amos Ryder is essentially a plot device to impart wisdom on the main characters but he’s so kind and gentle that I love him so much. I don’t think the stories would be the same without him

There is just ONE thing about this book that gets me. Height difference!!
Olive is 5’9” ish, Adam is well over 6’ I AM 5’9” ish and I have yet to sit in a man’s lap and be SHORTER than him
Physically, logically, mentally, spiritually I do not understand why she can barely reach his ear while sitting in his lap.
