I'm intrigued because this is an homage to all of the pop-culture of the 80s. The movie is coming out and I want to see it, too. My observation is that as those born in the early 70s look back on the "good ol' days" most of what is remembered is pop culture. I find that interesting. The detail concerning pop culture and video games that has gone into Cline's novel is rather amazing.

About two chapters in. Shelved it for now because I wanted to read Stedman's book on Authentic Christianity.

Started this book, but I'm uncertain I'll finish. It seems to fall into the category of books that are intended to inspire the reader with heroic stories from the front lines of faith. I may get back to it, but the "been here before" feeling is there along with the "get with the program, you slacker" vibe.

So far, a great argument for doing church in a participatory manner. Author argues for the use of the term, "ecclesia" as a term that better describes such gatherings. He borrows heavily from the work of William Booth and the early Salvation Army.

Some deeply inspiring essays on agriculture and preservation of the land. Classic Berry. This is one I've started with the intention of returning to it when I am in the mood.

This is a devotional classic that I use for my morning prayer times, usually in conjunction with a Bible text and Spurgeon's Morning and Evening.

I did not use this for devotional purposes. I used some other program. I may return to this one in the future.

Nearly done. Yes, I know it's aimed at young adults, but I'm still enjoying it.
