Having a hard time finishing this book. It is ROUGH.

I can’t put this down!!!!!

This is another one I got from BookTok in a video of books to read if you liked the movie “Saltburn”.

Saw this on Tik Tok and it was recommend if you liked “Salt Burn” so I’m excited to dive in!

I think would enjoy this book more if I was reading a physical copy or the narrator wasn’t so terrible lol the character Ben sounds like he’s struggling to talk, like he’s in pain.

Also I thought it was about an enchanted hacienda, not song girl fleeing to Canada with a family/guy she met twice randomly in Mexico. Bummer.

The “missing woman” has only been mentioned 3 times and I’m 70% done with the book lol its all been very very cringey fatherless behavior from Grace 😂

I need it to get to the good part. Like why did the boutique/bee keeper say Calvin is a good guy?

Also, I wouldn’t stay at an Airbnb if the host was still there lol

I can’t stop listening!

If I had the opportunity to jump into my favorite book I’d do it in a heart beat duh!!

I’ve barely made a dent in this book, I’m only chapter 7 out of 21!

wholesome story so far! I like the characters. Not a story about video games but, I like that I know enough about video games to know what they’re talking about.

I love this already!

I bought it to read on the plane but only got a couple chapters in. I picked it back up recently so I could read it all at once. It’s not as good as I hoped. It might be bc of the translation to English, that makes it feel dull. It’s divided in 2 parts. There’s an unnecessary chapter(6) in part 2 that I skimmed over as much as I could bc (spoiler??) it describes animal cruelty in detail.
